Brand’s Why

Prospero Health aims to change a healthcare system where recurrent hospital admissions and disjointed care leave patients and their families feeling neglected, undervalued, and unheard. 

Their people-first care model brings compassion to the forefront, allowing the sickest 1% of the US population to get the holistic care they need from the comfort of their home.

The Intention

When we began working with Prospero in 2020, they were a fledgling healthcare startup serving 1,200 patients across 3 US states. Their passionate team included doctors, nurses, and social workers, all dedicated to the livelihoods of their patients. 

Strategy

We focused all our efforts on Prospero’s need to serve their diverse audiences, including caregivers, patients living with serious illness, healthcare providers, and physician groups.

To start, we did robust audience research to understand the motivators and objections of each of Prospero’s four key audiences. We also did competitor research and journey mapping for each audience, as well as stakeholder interviews to ensure our direction was fully aligned with Prospero’s goals and vision.

Social Media

We created a content marketing strategy and pipeline filled with creative ways to showcase Prospero’s unwavering commitment to their patients and a better healthcare system.

To facilitate this strategy, we created valuable content for caregivers (Caregiver Resources), shared inspiring stories to help connect with patients (Patient Stories), and established Prospero’s voice in the healthcare community (Patient & Provider Resources).

Our human-centered social posts shared powerful stories of Prospero patients and team members, highlighting their passion, legacy, dignity, and love.

During the COVID pandemic, Prospero and Kriya navigated a complex landscape together, providing safe, essential home-based medical care to their patients.

Prospero’s content marketing engine needed an expansive web presence to complement and amplify the company’s mission and further inspire action.

Beginning with a full audit and strategic game plan, we executed a huge revamp of Prospero’s website where we refined and sharpened their message, configured crucial data analysis tools, and provided new ways for Prospero’s diverse audiences to quickly find the information they need.

Advertising & SEO

We implemented an advertising strategy across social, display, and through industry associations, targeting both caregivers and providers.

Finally, we curated a series of articles to raise awareness, build credibility, and inspire action. These supplemented a robust strategy of SEO and conversion improvements across all of Prospero’s pages and blog posts.

The Result

Prospero now serves over 30,000 patients across 28 US states – a 10x increase in patients and locations over 2 years.

Under our management, Prospero’s follower count has increased by 34% across all channels while maintaining an average engagement rate of 6.9% – more than 3x the industry average.

Within 3 months of working with Kriya, Prospero’s digital awareness skyrocketed. They saw a ~600% increase in website visitors, a 42% increase in new organic searches, and a 145% increase in organic social referrals.

Prospero’s growth strategy was so successful that they were acquired in 2022 and are now part of a national healthcare group. Prospero now has access to new avenues and opportunities for continued growth and impact into the future.
